Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) delivered 'Songpyeon Experience Kits' and 'Traditional Hangwa Sets' gift packages to 167 Dream Start case management households.
In celebration of Chuseok, the district provided 'Songpyeon Experience Kits' and 'Traditional Hangwa Sets' gift packages to Dream Start case management households so that family members could experience the Chuseok holiday culture together, share warm affection, and enjoy a joyful holiday.
In particular, the district expects that the process of children and caregivers making songpyeon together will promote the emotional development of children and provide an opportunity to strengthen emotional bonds within families.
A single-parent who received the gift package said, "We plan to make songpyeon in various shapes during the Chuseok holiday, gathering with family members after a long time," and added, "I am happy to make special songpyeon with the children."
A Guro-gu official stated, "We delivered each gift package with the hope that families would share affection and have a warm holiday during Chuseok," and added, "We hope all Dream Start case management families have a joyful and abundant Hangawi."
The district is delivering Chuseok gift boxes filled with warmth to each case management household before Chuseok, supported by KB Securities for 92 Dream Start multi-child households including cooking oil, tuna, and Samgyetang, and by Save the Children for 28 grandparent-grandchild households with food supplies and nutritional supplements for grandparents.
