On the 11th, Cuchen announced the launch of a 'Nutritional Sotbap Meal Kit' in collaboration with 'Greeting,' a healthy convenience food brand under Hyundai Green Food, part of the Hyundai Department Store Group. The meal kit, which was released last month in two varieties?'Bulgogi Aged Kimchi Sotbap' and 'Chicken Pumpkin Sotbap'?allows users to easily make sotbap by simply thawing the ingredients and cooking them in a rice cooker. No separate washing or preparation of ingredients is required, making the cooking process convenient.
Additionally, last month, Cuchen introduced two types of 'Mitopia Nonghyup Rice,' co-developed with Nonghyup Rice. The packaging features Cuchen's Mitopia character 'Jinji' (ZIN-Z). Available in Samgwangmi and Chindeulmi varieties, Mitopia Nonghyup Rice is designed to deliver the best taste when cooked using Cuchen's new 'Grain' rice cooker, which is equipped with a rice variety-specific algorithm. This enhanced flavor experience is also possible when cooking with Cuchen's 'Brain,' which applies a dedicated algorithm, as well as the 'Triple' and '121 Rice Cooker' lines that support 2.1 ultra-high pressure. Having signed a business agreement with Nonghyup Rice in 2021, Cuchen is also developing its own mixed grains through this collaboration. Plans are underway to introduce additional Mitopia Nonghyup Rice varieties such as Sindongjinmi, Alchanmi, and Odaemi in the future.
A Cuchen representative explained, "The Nutritional Sotbap Meal Kit and Mitopia Nonghyup Rice were introduced to promote our products as a prestigious rice cooker brand."
Hurom also launched the 'Hurom Juice Kit' in June, which contains the daily recommended intake of 500g of vegetables and fruits in one pack. Without the need for washing or preparation, users can simply put the juice kit ingredients into a Hurom juicer to make juice. The product is produced and managed in a facility certified under the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards, using a double washing system. To ensure freshness, production and shipping occur after orders are placed.
Hurom offers juice kit recipes including five previously introduced types: 'CCA (Carrot, Cabbage, Apple) Juice,' 'ABC (Apple, Beet, Carrot) Juice,' 'Apple Celery Juice,' 'Apple Kale Juice,' and 'Celery Juice,' as well as new varieties such as 'Green Rhubarb Juice,' 'Ginger Lemon Juice,' and 'Basil Tomato Juice.'
A Hurom representative stated, "Among customers who purchase juicers, there has been significant feedback expressing inconvenience in buying, washing, and proportioning vegetables and fruits individually. They wished for a kit that could simply be put into the juicer. Since juice kits can only be purchased by those who own a juicer, this can be seen as an expansion of our main business through synergy with our flagship juicer products."
