Donation to Welfare Facilities in Gyeongju

Wolsong Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power held a 'Chuseok Traditional Market Shopping' event at Mulbit Sarang Market in Yangnam-myeon on September 9, ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

Wolsong Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power visited Mulbit Sarang Market in Yangnam-myeon on the 9th to hold a traditional market shopping event for Chuseok.

Approximately 70 employees, including Director Kim Hanseong and the Head of External Cooperation, participated in the event, exchanging greetings with merchants and local residents while purchasing dried seafood, fruits, vegetables, and other goods worth about 7.5 million KRW.

The purchased goods were delivered to facilities for the disabled such as Aikkumteo Daycare Center, Cheongun Daycare Center, Yetishelter, as well as to elderly welfare facilities including Minje's Home and Hanajaega Senior Integrated Support Center.

Kim Hanseong, Director of Wolsong Headquarters, said, "I hope today's event will help the local economy and welfare facilities, and I wish everyone a happy holiday."

In addition to traditional market shopping events, Wolsong Nuclear Power Headquarters is making efforts to revitalize the local economy through various means such as purchasing local specialties, holding events to boost the agricultural and fisheries industries during the off-season, and providing vouchers to residents in the Donggyeongju area.
