The police announced that they are investigating five individuals related to the 'Emergency Room Doctor Blacklist Distribution' case.
According to the National Police Agency on the 10th, two suspects related to the emergency room doctor blacklist case have been identified, and one has been transferred. Another individual is being investigated through search and seizure to determine criminal charges. Three others who posted access links such as archives have also been identified and booked on charges of aiding and abetting violations of the Stalking Punishment Act.
The police identified 48 people who disclosed the list and committed insults and threats to hinder the return to medical practice from the early stages of the doctors' collective action. Among them, 45 have been investigated and 32 transferred.
Woo Jong-su, head of the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency, stated, “Maliciously disclosing the names of doctors who are diligently working in the medical field is a clear crime,” and added, “We will respond swiftly and strictly within the scope permitted by law.”
