Raising Awareness of Digital Transformation Among Small and Medium Mobility Manufacturing Companies

The Metaverse Convergence Promotion Headquarters of Gyeongbuk Technopark held the 'Gyeongbuk Manufacturing Industry Digital Transformation (DX) Innovation Growth Forum' on the 5th, targeting small and medium-sized manufacturing companies (with a focus on mobility) in the Gyeongbuk region.

Gyeongbuk Technopark is holding the 'Gyeongbuk Manufacturing Industry Digital Transformation (DX) Innovation Growth Forum' for small and medium-sized manufacturing companies (focused on mobility) in the Gyeongbuk region and is taking a commemorative photo.

This forum was organized to raise awareness of digital transformation (DX) and to support strengthening digital capabilities among companies in the regional mobility sector (including RIS future vehicle conversion companies and upstream and downstream companies).

The forum included the following sessions: a business agreement for the 'Mobility Industry DX Alliance' to promote digital transformation in the mobility-specialized industry; understanding and response strategies for the future vehicle industry; practical know-how for using generative AI (Chat-GPT) on-site; and strategies for small and medium-sized companies to respond to global environmental regulations.

The 11 organizations and companies that signed the 'Mobility Industry DX Alliance' business agreement plan to actively work together in the public and private sectors to promote digital transformation (DX) of the Gyeongbuk mobility industry and to address current issues by identifying regional industry challenges.

Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, stated, "As automotive parts companies and local universities are concentrated in Gyeongbuk Province, a continuous and differentiated strategy for survival is needed amid rapid changes. We will do our best to secure competitiveness in the global market and lower the barriers to DX entry for existing companies."
