"Detailed Dates and Costs of Sexual Bribery... Evidence Overflowing"
Attorney Kang Shin-up expressed his intention to appeal the prosecution's decision of no charges on false accusation against Rep. Lee Jun-seok of the Reform New Party. Attorney Kang had alleged sexual bribery suspicions against Rep. Lee and filed a false accusation complaint against him.

On the 10th, Attorney Kang released a statement saying, "The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office dismissed the false accusation case against Lee Jun-seok, but this decision by the prosecution office is fundamentally invalid," and claimed, "They say there is no evidence, but there is more than enough evidence."
Previously, the prosecution dismissed the false accusation charges against Rep. Lee due to insufficient evidence. Regarding this, Attorney Kang stated, "The investigation records from the Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office and the related court records from the Daejeon District Court detail the dates and costs of the sexual bribery given to Lee Jun-seok, and all this evidence was presented to the prosecution through the police."
Attorney Kang raised his voice, saying, "Nevertheless, the Central District Prosecutors' Office has been stalling the false accusation case against Lee Jun-seok, which the police had intensively investigated and forwarded with a prosecution opinion, for two years, and then gave Lee Jun-seok a clean bill of health citing the somewhat conflicting testimonies of those involved in the bribery due to the long passage of time. This is like saying only the Central District Prosecutors' Office does not know what heaven, earth, Lee Jun-seok himself, and the police all know."
Meanwhile, the sexual bribery allegations surrounding Rep. Lee surfaced in December 2021 when the YouTube channel "Garosero Research Institute" (Gaseyeon) raised suspicions that Rep. Lee received sexual favors twice in 2013 in Daejeon from Kim Sung-jin, CEO of iKist. Rep. Lee denied these allegations and sued Kang Yong-seok, a lawyer who appeared on Gaseyeon, and former reporter Kim Se-ui for defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act. In response, Attorney Kang Shin-up, legal representative for CEO Kim's side, filed a false accusation complaint against Rep. Lee.
