Honorary Chairman Joo attended the 'Sejong Institute of Science and Technology (SAIST) National Land Remodeling Strategy Seminar' held at the university's Ocean AI Center on the 6th and advocated for the construction of the Poil Canal (Pocheon- Ilsan), connecting the Imjin River and the Hantan River.

Honorary Chairman Joo explained, "If the Imjin River and Hantan River are dredged wider (300m) and deeper (25m) to create the Poil Canal (Pocheon-Ilsan), it can effectively turn the southern part of the Korean Peninsula into an island. The revenue from selling the dredged aggregates and soil is estimated to reach 18 trillion won, exceeding the construction costs. The effect of land value appreciation is estimated at about 11 trillion won."

Honorary Chairman Joo said, "The deepened water depth from dredging the Poil Canal could prevent North Korean tanks from crossing. Under normal circumstances, it can be used as a route for troop movement and logistics transport. It will also promote development in northern Gyeonggi and Gangwon provinces."
