Kim Seong-jung, the First Deputy Governor of Gyeonggi Province, visited Seonggyeongwon located in Dongducheon City on the 10th, delivered consolation gifts, and took a commemorative photo.
Gyeonggi Province has delivered consolation money totaling 167 million won to 690 social welfare facilities within the province.
On the 10th, Gyeonggi Province announced that ahead of Chuseok, as part of its continuous social contribution activities to practice a culture of sharing love for neighbors, it delivered consolation money to 690 social welfare facilities of 10 different types across the province.
On the same day, Kim Seong-jung, the First Deputy Governor of Gyeonggi Province, visited Seonggyeongwon, a homeless rehabilitation facility in Dongducheon City, to encourage the staff and residents. Established in 1987, Seonggyeongwon currently houses 131 homeless individuals and employs 26 facility staff members.
Earlier, on the 9th, Kim Hana, Director of Welfare for Gyeonggi Province, visited Changin Nursing Home in Yangpyeong. This facility is home to 80 people with severe disabilities.
