The Presidential Office announced its policy to respond strictly to the circulation of a 'blacklist' containing the real names of medical staff working in emergency rooms.

A senior official from the Presidential Office stated on the 10th, "It is a malicious intent to prevent medical staff who have returned in good faith from working," adding, "We will respond strictly." He also emphasized, "(The blacklist) must never be tolerated as the damage directly affects the public."

According to the medical community, during the Chuseok holiday, a blacklist targeting doctors working in emergency rooms has been circulating. The list titled 'Emergency Room Collaboration' on the 'Thankful Doctors List' website includes the names of about 100 emergency room staff along with the number of personnel working at each hospital. The list also includes doctors presumed to be military medical officers dispatched to emergency rooms.

Jung Yoon-soon, Director of Health and Medical Policy at the Ministry of Health and Welfare, pointed out during the daily emergency medical briefing that "this act intimidates doctors who protect patients' lives," and added, "Some military medical officers are suffering from social anxiety disorder due to this incident and are going through a painful time."
