Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters Supports Local Farmers and Neighbors in Need... 'Killing Two Birds with One Stone'

Delivery of Ulju Rice and Seosaeng Pears to 32 Welfare Facilities Including Seosaeng Regional Child Center

Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power delivered warm love to revitalize the local economy and support welfare facilities and underprivileged neighbors in the region ahead of Chuseok, the nation's biggest traditional holiday.

The Seoul Headquarters provided local agricultural products to neighbors in need, such as social welfare facilities in the area.

On the 9th, Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters purchased and delivered locally produced agricultural products worth a total of 18 million KRW, including 390 bags of Uljurice and 160 boxes of Seosaeng pears, to 32 social welfare facilities in Ulju-gun such as local children's centers, senior dining halls, and facilities for people with severe disabilities. The delivery ceremony was held at Seosaeng Local Children's Center, attended by Director So Yuseop and heads of southern Ulju-gun local children's centers.

So Yuseop, Director of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "I hope this can be of some help to our neighbors in need during these difficult times of economic hardship caused by high prices," and added, "I wish all our neighbors in the region a joyful and happy Chuseok."

Every year, Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters purchases agricultural products produced in the region during Seollal and Chuseok to share warmth with underprivileged neighbors in the community.
