A nightscape photo taken by a Japanese person is receiving a hot response on social networking services (SNS).

Japanese photographer Yuji Shibasaki posted a photo of the moon in the night sky on his X (formerly Twitter) on the 7th with the phrase "When the crescent moon overlaps with the Skytree." In the photo, the moon is perfectly aligned with the Skytree, a famous night view spot in Japan, illuminating the dark city center and harmonizing with the sparkling tower, drawing great attention online.

The Skytree in the photo is a broadcasting tower located in Sumida Ward, Tokyo. It is currently the tallest artificial structure in Japan, boasting a height of 634 meters. Upon completion, the Skytree immediately became a new landmark symbolizing the capital, Tokyo. When you go up to the observation deck, you can see the entire Tokyo city and beyond at a glance. On clear days, Mount Fuji is also visible.

After the photo received praise, Yuji said, "220,000 likes, thank you," and expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am happy that so many people have seen it." Domestic netizens who saw the photo also responded with comments such as "It reminds me of the animation 'Sailor Moon,'" "It's amazing that this is not computer graphics (CG)," and "It's really a wonderful photo."

Meanwhile, photographer Yuji also received a positive response on Valentine's Day, February 14, with a photo that seemed to show a crescent moon hanging over the Skytree. He posts various works on his X, capturing landscapes such as sunsets, snowy fields, and fireworks.
