Dankook University Hospital Holds Patient Safety Day Event Dankook University Hospital held the "Patient Safety Day" event on the 9th.

Dankook University Hospital held a 'Patient Safety Day' event on the 9th. The event was organized to raise awareness about patient safety and to create a safer medical environment.

The QA Team, which hosted the event, ran a campaign titled "Improving diagnosis for patient safety" to commemorate the World Health Organization (WHO)-designated World Patient Safety Day. Under the theme "Patient safety is more valuable when we do it together," they distributed posters and leaflets about "practices for safe diagnosis" to medical staff and visitors, and prepared various participatory programs such as puzzle-solving activities.

The Regional Patient Safety Center also conducted a campaign to improve hospital visitation culture for the safety of both patients and everyone involved. Programs included distributing leaflets titled "Please join us for safe hospital visits," OX quizzes, and writing personal pledges for safe hospital visits.

Kim Jaeil, the hospital director, said, "Patient safety is not only the responsibility of medical staff, but also requires the participation of patients and caregivers. Through education and training, we will strive to practice and make efforts in even the smallest areas to create a hospital where patients are safe."
