Lunit Pathology Analysis Solution Used in 'Global' Roche Diagnostics Platform

Medical AI company Lunit announced on the 10th that it will integrate its AI pathology analysis solution, Lunit SCOPE PD-L1, into NaviPath, Roche Diagnostics' digital pathology platform. This is the first time Roche has adopted Lunit's AI solution to build a collaborative ecosystem for digital pathology analysis.

NaviPath is Roche Diagnostics' comprehensive platform designed to enhance pathologists' work efficiency. It supports the entire pathology workflow, from digitizing tissue slides to AI-based analysis.

Through this integration, Roche Diagnostics aims to strengthen biomarker testing for cancer research and expects to improve patient treatment outcomes through precision medicine. Lunit plans to expand the application of its solution starting in the United States and subsequently to Europe, Korea, Japan, and other regions via Roche Diagnostics' global network.

The two companies plan to coordinate product launches and marketing strategies through further discussions. The collaboration is expected to involve Lunit focusing on AI algorithm development and advancement, while Roche Diagnostics will handle seamless solution integration and global sales.
