Suwon-si, Comprehensive Inspection of Affordable Price Businesses

The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will conduct a comprehensive inspection of 'Good Price Businesses' until October 11.

Good Price Businesses are establishments that offer services at prices lower than the regional average, contributing to the stabilization of local prices. They are designated by local governments based on the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's standards, considering cleanliness, hygiene, quality, and service comprehensively.

The selection targets the food service and personal service industries, evaluating the price levels of main products, efforts to stabilize prices, cleanliness and hygiene management, and public interest.

During the inspection period, Suwon will verify the eligibility of 78 existing Good Price Businesses and carry out re-designation or cancellation as necessary.

Suwon will continuously recruit new Good Price Businesses until December. Applicants can submit their business registration certificate and application form in person or by mail (including email) to the Suwon City Department of Regional Economy or the Economic and Transportation Departments of each district.

Designated Good Price Businesses will receive a certification plaque, customized necessary supplies, and volume-based waste bags. Additionally, small business owners with annual sales under 300 million KRW among local currency affiliated stores will receive support for card payment fees, and extra points will be awarded when selecting recipients for small business management environment improvement projects.

Good Price Businesses will be promoted on the websites of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Suwon City. At the end of the year, 'Excellent Good Price Businesses of the Year' will be selected and awarded plaques.

A Suwon city official stated, "We will inspect Good Price Businesses that contribute to stabilizing local prices by offering affordable prices and excellent services, discover new ones, and provide high-quality services to citizens and tourists."
