Diageo Launches 'Johny Walker' Chuseok Holiday Promotion

Limited Release of Gift Sets with Special Items Added by Product

Diageo Korea's world best-selling Scotch whisky brand Johnnie Walker announced on the 10th that it will release a limited edition ‘Johnnie Walker Whisky Chuseok Gift Set’ and hold a discount promotion in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.

The Johnnie Walker Whisky Chuseok Gift Set promotion includes various labels such as Johnnie Walker Blue Illusive Umami Limited Edition, Johnnie Walker Blue, Johnnie Walker Gold, and Johnnie Walker Black, prepared with various configurations including special items. Additionally, with discounted prices applied, products ranging from 30,000 to 500,000 KRW are available at reasonable prices, offering a wide range of choices.

Among the Johnnie Walker lineup, Johnnie Walker Blue, which boasts the highest quality with rare original spirits, is available in two sizes: 750mL and 500mL, and is enhanced with a luxurious ‘Glencairn Glass Package’ sold exclusively during the Chuseok holiday period. Johnnie Walker Blue is a whisky blended from carefully selected original spirits at a ratio of one out of 10,000 oak barrels. Among the gift sets introduced this time, the limited edition Johnnie Walker Blue Illusive Umami Limited Edition, sold in limited quantities domestically, is a whisky created through collaboration between Johnnie Walker Master Blender Emma Walker and the famous chef Kobayashi Kei of a Michelin 3-star restaurant. To realize a unique umami flavor, it is blended from rare original spirits selected at a ratio of one out of 25,000 from a warehouse storing over 10 million matured casks.

Johnnie Walker Black, the most awarded product at various whisky competitions worldwide and the best-selling Scotch whisky globally, offers gift sets in various configurations by volume. The ‘Johnnie Walker Black 1L Set’ includes a highball glass and an on-the-rocks glass. The ‘Johnnie Walker Black 700mL Set’ is prepared in two packages: one with a highball glass and mini lemon juice, and another with a highball glass and an acrylic coaster.

Additionally, gift set configurations for various products such as ‘Johnnie Walker XR 21 Year’, ‘Johnnie Walker 18 Year’, ‘Johnnie Walker Green’, ‘Johnnie Walker Gold Reserve’, ‘Johnnie Walker Double Black’, ‘Johnnie Walker Black Sherry’, and ‘Johnnie Walker Blonde’ are also introduced.
