Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) will implement a "Chuseok Comprehensive Plan" for seven days from the 13th to the 19th during the Chuseok holiday.

To prevent administrative gaps during the long holiday, the district will focus on managing seven key areas closely related to residents' lives: ▲resident safety ▲wind and flood damage ▲resident convenience enhancement ▲medical care ▲price stabilization ▲support for marginalized neighbors ▲and establishment of public service discipline.

During this period, the district will operate a comprehensive situation room 24 hours a day and run task forces for each sector to respond promptly to emergencies that may occur during the holiday, minimizing inconvenience to residents.

First, an emergency medical and healthcare system will be established. From the 14th to the 18th, the public health center's medical task force will operate to provide information on hospitals and pharmacies available for treatment and prepare for a large number of patients.

A total of 159 hospitals and clinics and 210 pharmacies will be designated and operated during the holiday. In particular, Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital, Bumin Hospital, Wooridul Hospital, Mizmedi Hospital, and Gangseo K Hospital will operate emergency rooms 24 hours a day.

Additionally, inspections will be conducted on disaster-vulnerable facilities and social welfare facilities to ensure residents have a safe holiday. Inspections will cover roads, construction sites, traditional markets, multi-use facilities, welfare centers, and senior citizen lounges.

The Wind and Flood Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters will also operate during the Chuseok period to prepare emergency measures and relief plans for disaster victims in case of sudden heavy rain or other severe weather.

On-site guidance and crackdowns on illegal parking during the holiday will be promptly handled, and a team for illegal parking enforcement will operate 24 hours a day throughout the holiday.

Cleaning measures have also been prepared. All household waste will be collected before the holiday, and intensive street cleaning will be carried out. Furthermore, thorough prior notice regarding prohibited and permitted garbage disposal days will be provided to minimize confusion.

The district will operate a price countermeasure situation room and work to stabilize prices. It will closely monitor price trends of holiday seasonal goods and conduct inspections on origin labeling and price display systems. Additionally, support for traditional market Chuseok holiday events will be provided to promote the local economy.

Moreover, the district will deliver consolation money and goods to low-income residents and social welfare facilities before the holiday to ensure all residents can enjoy a joyful holiday. This year, the scale of support for consolation money and goods will be expanded, and holiday meals will be provided to single-person households such as elderly living alone, actively caring for marginalized neighbors.

Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon stated, "We will thoroughly prepare so that residents can have a safe and enjoyable holiday."
