Appointed as Lead Attorney

Law Firm YK (Chief Attorneys Kang Kyung-hoon and Kim Beom-han) has appointed Na Chan-gi, former Chief Prosecutor of Cheonan Branch of Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office (age 57, Judicial Research and Training Institute class 28), as the new chief attorney.
Chief Attorney Na passed the 38th Judicial Examination in 1996 and was commissioned as a prosecutor at Changwon District Prosecutors' Office in 1999. Since then, he has served as Deputy Chief Prosecutor at Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (seconded as Legal Advisor to the Fair Trade Commission), Chief of the Foreign Affairs Division at Busan District Prosecutors' Office, Chief Prosecutor of Uiseong Branch of Daegu District Prosecutors' Office, Director of Legal Order Advancement Division at the Ministry of Justice, Director of Inspection Division 2 at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of Investigation Division 1 (concurrently Deputy Chief Prosecutor of Investigation Division 2) at Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and Deputy Chief Prosecutor of Criminal Division 1 at Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office.
From August 2019 to February 2020, he served as Chief Prosecutor of Cheonan Branch of Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office, after which he began his career as an attorney at Law Firm Inwol. While serving as a prosecutor in 2012, he also earned a master's degree related to intellectual property rights from KAIST.
During his time as a prosecutor, Chief Attorney Na investigated major corporate-related cases including ▲embezzlement by an electronics company owner ▲embezzlement by the chairman of a central association ▲illegal payment of party fees ▲embezzlement by a shipbuilding company ▲defense industry corruption ▲illegal labor union strikes ▲embezzlement allegations involving actor Lee Jung-jae.
