Up to Seven Heads Can Be Stored
The Handle Kimchi Container Makes Transport and Storage Easier
Lock&Lock announced on the 9th that it has renewed and launched the ‘Kimchi Container 3 Types,’ an essential item for the kimchi-making season.
The newly released kimchi containers have been upgraded in design with a khaki color and are available in 11 different capacities, capable of holding up to seven heads of napa cabbage.
Along with this, Lock&Lock introduced the new ‘Lock&Lock Handle Kimchi Container’ to strengthen its kimchi container lineup. The handle kimchi container features a handle structure that makes moving and storing more convenient, allowing users to put it in and take it out of the refrigerator with one hand. A Lock&Lock representative explained, “You can open only a part of the lid without opening the entire lid, making it easier to take out kimchi,” adding, “It is a product well-suited for single-person households who store kimchi in a regular refrigerator and frequently take it out.” It is available in two sizes, 2.5ℓ and 5ℓ, and can also be used to store grains or nuts.
The ‘Lock&Lock Breathing Kimchi Container’ has also been renewed. It has a breathing valve that releases fermentation gases and blocks outside air to maintain the crisp taste of kimchi. It is available in a total of seven sizes to choose from according to use. The 2.6~6ℓ sizes come with one handle, and the 7~14ℓ sizes come with two handles. The 6ℓ and 11ℓ products include a press device that minimizes contact between kimchi and air, helping optimal fermentation and maturation.
A Lock&Lock representative said, “Lock&Lock kimchi containers have attracted attention even before launch as products with differentiated kimchi storage solutions, various capacities, and excellent ease of use,” and added, “As the kimchi-making season approaches, we expect this new product to continue the reputation as an essential item for kimchi-making.”
