Establishment of AI Transition Office and Evaluation Headquarters... Workforce Reallocation
"Strengthening Capabilities as a Data Specialist Leading Company"
Hong Du-seon, CEO of Korea Credit Data (KoDATA), has initiated the company's first organizational restructuring to enhance its competitiveness. This comes just over 60 days after his appointment as CEO in July.
On the 9th, Korea Credit Data announced a major organizational restructuring and personnel changes focused on securing future competitiveness and strengthening customer service.
First, a Future Strategy Headquarters was newly established directly under the CEO. This department is responsible for formulating sustainable growth strategies and enhancing the competitiveness of products and businesses. An AI Transformation Office, which promotes the transition of work systems using artificial intelligence (AI) and the development of related products, was also newly established within the headquarters.
Additionally, to improve customer service, the company reorganized by renaming existing organizations and reallocating affiliated departments. The divisions previously named CB Business and RS Business were renamed to 'Financial Division,' 'Corporate/Public Division,' and 'Management Infrastructure Division' to make it easier for customers to understand. The Data Headquarters, which housed data research, product planning, and development departments, was reborn as the 'Data Strategy Division,' incorporating management, IT, and marketing function departments to establish an integrated system.
Furthermore, an Evaluation Headquarters was newly established within the Management Infrastructure Division to strengthen credit evaluation competitiveness and fairness, as well as to integrate business support functions.
Other changes in the restructuring plan included the establishment of an External Cooperation Department to facilitate smooth collaboration with external organizations and the consolidation of branches to improve profitability. Accordingly, Korea Credit Data’s organizational structure changed from 4 divisions, 1 headquarters, and 33 departments to 4 divisions, 2 headquarters, and 33 departments.
In addition, two new headquarters chiefs were appointed, and two department heads born in the 1980s were selected to promote generational change. Personnel reshuffling was carried out for 20 department heads to revitalize the atmosphere and foster innovation through workforce reallocation.
CEO Hong said, "This organizational restructuring marks the beginning of innovation to strengthen Korea Credit Data’s capabilities as a data-specialized leading company, evolving beyond a corporate credit information platform."
