Students received education in each field: ▲Mathematics by Professor Kim Daeyeol on 'Repeated Matrix Multiplication' ▲Biology by Professor Emeritus Kim Iksoo on 'Conservation of the Jeonjucheon Ecosystem' ▲Geology by Professor Emeritus Oh Changhwan on 'Geological History of the Korean Peninsula and Geology of Jeonbuk'.
In the IT convergence field, students directly experienced drone swarm flight using block coding through collaboration with the SW-Centered University Project Group, providing an opportunity to broaden their perspective on the drone industry.
Director Jung Deokho of the Science Gifted Education Center said, "Through the Jeonbuk Science Dream Tree Nurturing Education, we will do our best to help students interested in mathematics and science develop their talents and realize their dreams by exposing them to various topics they have never experienced before."
Meanwhile, the Science Gifted Education Center is the representative institution for science gifted education in the Jeonbuk region, operating for 27 years. It was established in 1998 as the 'Jeonbuk National University Science Gifted Education Center' within the Institute of Science Education at the College of Education, Jeonbuk National University, and was promoted to the 'Science Gifted Education Center' in 2002.
