Goryeong-gun to Hold 'Parent Education for Daycare Centers'... Creativity Education for Parents This Year

Parent Education and English Experience Festival Held at Daycare Centers

Goryeong County in North Gyeongsang Province held a parent education event on the 7th at the county gymnasium in Daegaya-eup, with about 100 children from local daycare centers and 150 parents, totaling around 250 participants.

This event, sponsored by Goryeong County and organized by the Goryeong County Daycare Center Association, featured instructor Tae Seongho, who delivered a lecture on parental creativity education under the theme "Awaken Your Thinking."

Departing from the traditional lecture format, the session was conducted in a play-based style where parents and children participated together, which resonated with and received enthusiastic responses from both parents and children. In addition, after the education session, an English experience festival for infants and toddlers was held for families, adding to the enjoyment.

County Governor Lee Namcheol said, "I hope this parent education has provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen family bonds."

Goryeong County is conducting the 2024 daycare parent education program.
