Mini 4th Album 'Crazy' Ranks 7th... Team's Highest Sales Record
The group LE SSERAFIM's 4th mini album 'CRAZY' has entered the top 10 of the US Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200'.
According to the chart preview article posted on Billboard's website on the 8th (local time) for the chart dated the 14th, LE SSERAFIM's 'CRAZY', released on the 30th of last month, debuted at number 7 on the 'Billboard 200'.
'CRAZY' recorded the group's highest sales with 38,000 album sales and 9,000 SEA units (sales converted from streaming counts).
The 'Billboard 200' ranks albums by combining traditional album sales scores with SEA (streaming equivalent albums), which converts streaming counts into album sales, and TEA (track equivalent albums), which converts digital track downloads into album sales.
LE SSERAFIM is the first 4th generation K-pop girl group to enter the 'Billboard 200' top 10 with three consecutive albums. Previously, their first full-length album 'UNFORGIVEN' and their 3rd mini album 'Easy' ranked 6th and 8th respectively. LE SSERAFIM entered the chart within six months of debut with their 2nd mini album 'ANTIFRAGILE', which reached number 14 on the 'Billboard 200'.
Only TWICE and LE SSERAFIM are K-pop girl groups that have entered the 'Billboard 200' top 10 with three or more albums.
While the album and its title track 'CRAZY' are performing well on global charts, there is also interest in whether they will enter the Billboard main singles chart 'Hot 100'. LE SSERAFIM previously charted at number 99 on the Hot 100 with the title track 'Easy' from their 3rd mini album.
This week, the number 1 spot on the 'Billboard 200' was held for the second consecutive week by American pop star and actress Sabrina Carpenter's 6th full-length album 'Short n' Sweet'.
