Mask sales increased by 183% in August compared to the previous month
Hand sanitizing wipes also show rising sales trend
Due to the resurgence of COVID-19, sales of hygiene-related products such as masks and hand sanitizing wipes have increased.
On the 9th, Kkaekkeuthan Nara announced that sales of personal hygiene products (masks and hand sanitizing wipes) have significantly increased. The total sales volume of three types of masks rose by approximately 183% compared to the previous month as of last month.
The product with the highest sales volume was the ‘Kkaekkeuthan Nara 3D Droplet Blocking Mask.’ Released in 2022, this 3D droplet blocking mask features a beak-shaped design that remains comfortable even when worn for long hours during summer. It is also a KF-AD quasi-drug approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Designed with an ergonomic two-layer 3D structure, it boasts a thickness 54% thinner and a contact cooling index improved by 47% compared to previous Kkaekkeuthan Nara masks.
The ‘Kkaekkeuthan Nara Yellow Dust Mask Prime KF94’ is a KF94 health mask that blocks more than 94% of fine dust particles averaging 0.4㎛ in size and protects the respiratory system from infectious agents. The ‘Kkaekkeuthan Nara Dental-type Droplet Blocking Mask’ is a KF-AD quasi-drug that applies an MB filter to prevent infection through droplets. Their sales last month increased by approximately 208% and 134%, respectively, compared to the previous month.
Along with masks, sales of hand sanitizing wipes are also showing an upward trend. Sales of the ‘Kkaekkeuthan Nara Clean Hand Sanitizing Wipes 2 types’ have continuously increased from May to last month, with last month’s sales rising about 41% compared to the previous month.
Both the ‘Kkaekkeuthan Nara Clean Hand Sanitizing Wipes’ and the ‘Kkaekkeuthan Nara Clean Hand Sanitizing Wipes Mild’ effectively eliminate 99.9% of harmful bacteria. They allow for easy hand cleansing and protection without the need for separate washing with water and soap.
