Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will open the ‘Eoullim Market’ at 9 a.m. on the 10th in the plaza in front of the district office, where residents can purchase fresh agricultural products directly shipped from production areas at affordable prices in celebration of Chuseok.

The ‘Eoullim Market’ is a direct transaction market where high-quality agricultural and specialty products from across the country, as well as traditional holiday offerings, can be purchased cheaply through direct shipment from production sites. Every year during the holidays, it attracts a steady flow of local residents.

In particular, the Eoullim Market provides a stable sales channel for local producers and market merchants who are struggling with electronic commerce (e-commerce).

This year’s Chuseok market has expanded compared to last year, with three local markets including the Yeongdeungpo traditional market and 12 regions participating. Additionally, sales booths are organized by region so that visitors can easily find agricultural, marine, and specialty products from their desired areas.
