Popular actor Jung Hae-in, who is starring in the tvN drama 'Mom's Friend's Son' and the movie 'Veteran 2,' has gained tens of billions of won in capital gains through real estate investment.


According to News1 on the 8th, Jung Hae-in purchased a villa named Hyosung Villa in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, under his personal name for 4.4 billion won in September 2018. Hyosung Villa is an old residence that was completed 40 years ago. However, it has a duplex structure with a ground floor area of 212.80㎡ and a duplex floor area of 27.85㎡, making the total exclusive area 72.8 pyeong.

Located just a 3-minute walk from Cheongdam Station on Line 7, Hyosung Villa is an old residence completed 40 years ago, but the unit Jung Hae-in purchased has a land area of 71.48 pyeong, making it a property with considerable investment value. Cheongdam Park, which spans about 17,000 pyeong, is also right next door, providing a very pleasant living environment.


Looking at recent market prices, a 70-pyeong exclusive unit in Hyosung Villa was traded for 7 billion won in February 2022. The sale price of 'Upper House Cheongdam 2nd Phase,' a redevelopment of nearby Jinheung Villa, is also listed at over 8.3 billion won for an 82.7-pyeong exclusive unit.


Earlier, actor Cha Tae-hyun made headlines by becoming a building owner in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Cha Tae-hyun purchased a multi-family house with a land area of 192.6㎡ (58.26 pyeong) and a total floor area of 393.36㎡ (118.99 pyeong), spanning from basement level 1 to the 3rd floor, for 7.4 billion won. This amounts to 127.01 million won per 3.3㎡ of land. He signed the contract in April and paid the balance on August 30.
