"Let's Put Down Our Phones for a Moment" Digital Detox Event... LGU+ Invites 100 Customers

Platform 'Nugget' to Hold Event on the 10th
Drawing Class, Busking Performance, and More Scheduled

LG Uplus's telecommunications fee platform 'Nugget' is hosting an offline event where participants can directly experience digital detox. The purpose is to provide a differentiated customer experience by offering a new opportunity to put down smartphones and immerse themselves in themselves.

Nugget is a prepaid fee-based telecommunications platform that offers customers a hyper-personalized communication experience. Since July, it has been running a brand campaign with the core keyword 'Experience the Moment of Immersion,' conveying a message supporting the self-directed lives of the MZ generation customers.


To provide customers with an experience of immersing themselves, Nugget planned 'No Phone Oasis,' a picnic enjoyed without smartphones. For this event, they collaborated with 'Stolp,' a company that produces digital detox products.


The event, held on the 10th at a 3,000-pyeong (approximately 9,917 square meters) space in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, will be conducted with a picnic concept. It will be attended by 100 Nugget users selected through a lottery and invited influencers. Participants will place their smartphones into the 'Stolp Phone Box,' which blocks data and communication, and spend time focusing on themselves.


Attendees can spend time enjoying a drawing class learning how to easily paint landscape watercolors from YouTuber 'Lee Yeon,' a sketching contest themed on memorable scenes of life, and busking performances by musicians Vincent Blue and Jeon Jinhee.


Additionally, there will be spaces where customers can immerse themselves in texts by reading and transcribing picture books, poetry collections, and essays; a play zone to enjoy childhood memory games; and a place to comfortably take naps on the lawn, ensuring customers can spend time without smartphones without feeling bored.


Nugget plans to continue events supporting customers' digital detox.
