Enjoying 'Children's Theater' Performances at Jeonju Seohak Art Village Library

Donghwa Narae Research Institute 'Magic Jar'

On the 7th, Jeonju City in Jeollabuk-do announced that it held a children's play performance titled 'Magic Jar' for families visiting the Seohak Art Village Library with infants and young children.


About 30 family visitors attended the performance. The local senior theater group, 'Donghwa Narae Research Institute,' presented a story about a mysterious magic jar from which items that were put in once keep coming out.

Following this children's play performance, the Seohak Art Village Library plans to hold captivating magic shows such as pigeon magic and levitation magic, as well as a puppet show themed on kind words titled 'Hama, Wake Up' in October.


Citizens who wish to participate can check the weekly advance notice and register on the Jeonju City Library website. For more details, inquiries can be made by phone. Participation is free of charge.


Choi Hyunchang, head of the Library Headquarters, said, "In September, the 'Month of Reading,' we have prepared not only reading activities but also reading culture performances for the whole family to enjoy together," adding, "We will continue to provide various reading culture programs such as performances to enhance citizens' diverse book culture experiences."
