The Gwangju Regional Tax Office (Commissioner Park Gwangjong) visited 'Francisco's House,' a care facility for elderly people with dementia and stroke in Jinwon-myeon, Jangseong, on the 6th ahead of Chuseok, delivering donations and consolation gifts.
Commissioner Park Gwangjong listened to the difficulties faced by the director and staff of 'Francisco's House' and expressed his gratitude for the dedication of the workers who silently serve despite challenging working conditions.
Following this, Commissioner Park invited two middle school students recommended by the Gwangju Western Office of Education to the office building and presented them with scholarships.
Commissioner Park Gwangjong stated, "We will continue to practice sharing and volunteering for neighbors in need and persistently carry out various social contribution activities as a public institution working together with local residents."
The Gwangju Regional Tax Office plans to visit welfare facilities within its jurisdiction before the Chuseok holiday to practice neighborly love through each bureau and office.
