24 Years of Social Contribution Programs Protecting the Underprivileged, Community, Heroes, and Environment

S-OIL (CEO: Anwar Al Hejazi) received the Presidential Citation at the 25th Social Welfare Day ceremony held at the Seoul Garden Hotel in Mapo-gu on the 6th.

S-OIL awarded the Presidential Citation on Social Welfare Day.

S-OIL was recognized for its significant contribution to spreading the culture of sharing by donating a total of 147 billion KRW over 24 years and consistently carrying out various social contribution activities through its four major social contribution programs focused on 'underprivileged neighbors, local communities, heroes, and the environment,' based on the management value of Sharing.

In particular, since 2011, S-OIL has signed an agreement for the 'Gas Station Sharing N Campaign' program with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare, implementing a gas station-linked community contribution program and supporting socially vulnerable groups.

Additionally, S-OIL has been leading various activities to fulfill its corporate social responsibility, such as sharing the remainder of employees' salaries, volunteering, and sponsoring performances by the Heart Heart Orchestra, which is Korea's first orchestra composed of adolescents with developmental disabilities, since 2009.

S-OIL has also supported programs such as 'Firefighter Hero Keeper' since 2006, 'Citizen Hero Keeper' since 2008, and 'Coast Guard Hero Keeper' since 2013 to encourage those who protect citizens' lives and property and dedicate themselves to neighbors in need. In 2011, S-OIL was awarded the Presidential Citation on Firefighters' Day in recognition of its Firefighter Hero Keeper program.
