2024 Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame Inductees Selected
41 Inducted Since Hall of Fame Established in 2004 to Promote Entrepreneurial Spirit

IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 6th that it has selected AR Chairman Han Seung-il and Remote Solution Chairman Shin Hong-beom as inductees to the '2024 Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame.'
The Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame is an event that selects entrepreneurs who have contributed to the national economy with indomitable entrepreneurial spirit. Established in 2004, it has selected a total of 41 inductees to date, comprehensively reviewing the entrepreneurial spirit, reputation, corporate growth potential, technological capabilities, and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) management practices of the candidates.
Chairman Han Seung-il entered the frozen air conditioning industry, which had been entirely dependent on imports, and over 43 years since founding AR, has grown it to hold the number one domestic market share in constant temperature and humidity controllers, contributing to the development of the domestic frozen air conditioning industry.
Chairman Shin Hong-beom has devoted 30 years since founding Remote Solution to the development and manufacturing of remote controls, growing the company into an innovative enterprise with the highest level of long-distance voice recognition technology in Korea.
Bank President Kim Sung-tae said, “In difficult management conditions, we have selected two entrepreneurs for the first time in nine years to deliver a message of hope to small and medium-sized enterprises that are a strong pillar of the national economy,” adding, “IBK will continue to widely promote the indomitable spirit of honorable entrepreneurs who have left excellent footprints.”
Meanwhile, IBK introduces the challenges and innovative entrepreneurial spirit of the inducted entrepreneurs through the ‘Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame Digital Memorial Hall’ installed in the lobby on the first floor of its Euljiro headquarters in Seoul.
