Dongho Bridge~Nodeul Island 'Night View Course' and Yeouido~Yanghwa Hangang Park 'Ecological Course' Selected
Seoul Facilities Corporation Chooses Citizen Recommendations Through Contest
On the 6th, 20 courses that can be enjoyed by riding Seoul's public bicycle 'Ddareungi' were unveiled. Seoul Facilities Corporation (Chairman Han Guk-yeong) announced that it revealed the '20 Attractive Ddareungi Routes' chosen by citizens on the Seoul Ddareungi website and is conducting various events such as the 'Ddareungi Route Stamp Tour.'
The corporation held the 'Seoul Ddareungi Route Recommendation Contest' from May to August, selecting 20 attractive bicycle routes. A total of 1,354 citizens participated in the contest.
The 'Han River Night View Travel Course with Ddareungi,' which received the highest number of votes at 616 in the online citizen poll, is an approximately 13 km route starting from Ttukseom Resort, passing Dongho Bridge, Banpo Bridge, Nodeul Island, and more. It allows riders to enjoy major night view spots along the Han River by bicycle.
The second-place course, 'Ddareung Ddareung Bicycle Park along the Han River,' received 593 votes and covers about 9 km, starting from Nodeul Station and passing Yeouido Waterfront Plaza, Saetgang Ecological Park, and the bicycle paths of Yanghwa Han River Park.
The third-place course, 'The Path with Greenery,' which received 502 votes, is a total 4 km route starting from Olympic Park and passing Seongnaecheon Stream and Jamsil Hangang Park. It offers views of distinctive landmark buildings in Gangdong-gu and Songpa-gu.
The fourth-place course, 'Crossing Mapo Bridge to Feel Yeouido and the Han River,' received 492 votes and is a 4 km course starting from Seogang Naru Park, passing Mapo Bridge and Yeouido Park.
The fifth-place course, 'Healing Commute Ddareungi Route,' received a total of 416 votes and is a 6 km course starting from Anyangcheon, passing Anyangcheon Ecological Flower Garden and Gwangmyeonggyo Underpass.
Other courses included in the '20 Attractive Ddareungi Routes' are the 'Metasequoia Forest Path Course,' where you can enjoy the nature of Nanji Hangang Park; the 'Cheonggyecheon Course,' which allows sightseeing of major Seoul landmarks; and the 'Flower Viewing Course,' where you can ride while enjoying cherry blossoms and roses.
Along with unveiling the '20 Attractive Ddareungi Routes,' the corporation has prepared various citizen participation events such as the 'Ddareungi Route Stamp Tour,' where completing all 20 courses earns you a Ddareungi keychain souvenir and a completion certificate, and SNS certification for visiting Ddareungi routes.
