Duzon Bizon Receives Presidential Award for Job Creation from Ministry of Employment for Excellence in Youth Talent Development

Duzon Bizon announced on the 6th that it received the ‘Presidential Citation’ in recognition of its leading role in creating jobs for youth at the ‘2024 Job Creation Merit Government Awards Ceremony.’ This event is a system organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor to discover and reward individuals and companies that have played a pioneering role in promoting youth employment and employment stability.


Duzon Bizon has made multifaceted efforts to continuously create jobs and nurture talent in line with government policies. The Head of the HR Planning Unit, who led these efforts and contributed to realizing social value, was selected as the recipient of the Presidential Citation in the individual category for youth job social contribution (ESG support type).


Duzon Bizon operated various programs that hire prepared young job seekers and provide opportunities for job experience through ‘Youth Digital Talent Development.’ As part of industry-academia cooperation, it offered consultant training academies, long-term field training (IPP) courses, and job internship opportunities in collaboration with major universities.


Additionally, in partnership with the Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA), Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA), and Bit Education Center, Duzon Bizon ran developer education courses through developer recruitment-linked programs. Each year, it hired a double-digit number of regular employees and recruitment-linked interns, focusing on outstanding graduates.


This award is evaluated as the fruit of Duzon Bizon’s efforts in successfully leading related programs after being selected for the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s job creation project for two consecutive years. In fact, since 2023, Duzon Bizon has continuously operated programs through the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s ‘Future Tomorrow Work Experience Project (ESG support type),’ contributing to youth job creation and the realization of social value.


‘The EJC (ERP Junior Consultant),’ operated by Duzon Bizon, is a program jointly run with the Korea Productivity Center (KPC) focusing on nurturing ERP junior consultants and aiming to cultivate IT talent centered on field practice. As of the end of 2023, it provided work experience opportunities to 50 young job seekers, among whom 12 were hired as regular employees.


This program emphasizes providing young people with field-oriented IT education to cultivate core competencies needed in the digital transformation era. Through this achievement, Duzon Bizon contributed to creating quality jobs and was selected as an excellent institution in performance evaluations, receiving the Minister of Employment and Labor Award at the end of last year.


Nam Dong-sil, Deputy Head of the HR Planning Unit at Duzon Bizon, said, “Based on a deep understanding and passion for government job creation and youth talent development, we were able to successfully lead related projects. Duzon Bizon aims not only to create simple jobs but also to support young people to grow into future IT professionals, and plans to continuously fulfill its social responsibility through various programs going forward.”
