'Fish Market as an Art Space'... Incheon Soraepogu Festival Commemorative Public Art Project

Namdong-gu, Incheon, and the Namdong Cultural Foundation are operating the 'Fish Market Public Art Project' exhibition at the Soraepogu Traditional Fish Market to commemorate the 24th Soraepogu Festival.

According to the district on the 6th, this project utilized idle spaces within the fish market as art spaces, transforming objects and images symbolizing the people and life of the fish market into public art works.

On the stairs from the 1st to the 2nd floor, a fishing net chandelier artwork is displayed, and on the outdoor glass fence on the 2nd floor, there is a marine ecological resource sticker artwork depicting waves and marine creatures. Additionally, in the indoor corridor on the 2nd floor, Soraepogu video content works are installed to guide visitors to the fish market into a strange and unfamiliar artistic world.
