On the 6th, CJ CheilJedang announced that it had been selected for the "2024 Korea Best Job Creation Company" for the third consecutive year, hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. This year, 100 companies were selected after screening from about 760 companies. Among the 100 companies, only three, including CJ CheilJedang, received the award for three consecutive years.
CJ CheilJedang was highly evaluated for being the first private company to introduce the "Large Corporation Win-Win Tomorrow Filling Deduction," contributing to closing the wage gap with partner companies. It was recognized for creating quality jobs that allow the coexistence of work and family by establishing maternity protection systems that exceed legal standards.
Additionally, the company operates various family-friendly welfare programs, such as providing spouse fetal examination leave of four hours once a month and offering two weeks of "childcare leave for children entering elementary school." It is also fostering an autonomous and horizontal work environment by introducing PC off systems, flexible working hours, and operating hub offices.
Furthermore, the company continuously improves labor-management cooperation and organizational culture through the "Open Council," a consultative body where employee representatives and management discuss and promote improvements in personnel systems and welfare benefits.
Jeon Eunhong, head of the Labor-Management Cooperation Team at CJ CheilJedang, said, "We will spare no effort to support CJ CheilJedang members to maintain a happy work life and demonstrate their best capabilities," adding, "We will continue to do our best to create a better working environment."
