100th Work is the Drama 'Nae Chingueui Joreopsik'
November 'Content IP Market' Opens to Accelerate Commercialization
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on the 5th that through 'Storyum,' they have facilitated the commercialization of 100 works, including the drama 'My Friend's Graduation Ceremony,' which was released last May.
Storyum is a platform that connects creators with competitive stories to content producers, investors, and agents seeking new material. When creators register their stories before or after planning, Storyum helps produce them into dramas, web dramas, films, publications (web novels), animations, performances, and more. The platform has a cumulative membership of 21,601. Representative works that have been commercialized include the films 'Baekdusan,' 'Bright Girl,' and 'The Girl on the Bulldozer.'
To facilitate smooth matching, the Korea Creative Content Agency held the 'Storyum Offline Biz Matching Day' on the 4th at the CKL Enterprise Support Center in Gwanghwamun, Seoul. The event arranged meetings between numerous creators and production company representatives to encourage active exchanges. In November, they will also hold the 'Content IP Market,' a content IP business event, to further accelerate commercialization.
An official stated, "We aim to develop this platform into one that promotes active collaboration between creators and companies and leads the One Source Multi Use of content IP."
