The Department of Beauty Industry at Tongmyong University’s College of Future Convergence was recently selected for the 2024 Busan Cosmetics Professional Training Project.
This project is carried out with the support of Busan Technopark and aims to foster professionals specialized in the Busan cosmetics industry, thereby promoting entrepreneurship and youth employment in the beauty industry, as well as supporting local settlement and job creation.
The program offers customized theoretical and practical education on cosmetics and is scheduled to run from October 2 to December 5.
Kim Kyungyeon, head of the Department of Beauty Industry, stated, "This project provides practical, industry-centered education that reflects the latest trends in cosmetics. By utilizing Tongmyong University's state-of-the-art equipment, facilities, and network, we will deliver the highest quality education, strengthen the competitiveness of the cosmetics industry, and lay an important foundation for the economic growth of the local community."
The Department of Beauty Industry at Tongmyong University trains future-oriented beauty industry professionals who can integrate expertise in the beauty industry and the cosmetics sector, based on scientific knowledge and functional elements of fragrance.
The department operates a practical curriculum aimed at employment and entrepreneurship in beauty services and cosmetics-related industries.
