IAAE to Host ‘Gen AI Innovation 2024’ [International Association for Artificial Intelligence Ethics]

The International Association for Artificial Intelligence Ethics (IAAE, Chairman Jeon Chang-bae) announced on the 4th that it will hold the ‘Gen AI Innovation 2024 in Korea’ conference on October 4th at the aT Center in Yangjae, Seoul, co-hosted with the AI Korea Community.

This conference is the first participatory event in Korea focused on generative AI. It will serve as a broad platform to exchange the latest technological trends in generative AI, which has emerged as a key topic in industries worldwide, practical applications in work and business, hands-on opportunities, and ethical and regulatory standards. Notably, global AI leaders such as Magnific AI and FREEPIK’s CEOs and board members, along with domestic and international AI professionals including developers, marketers, and data analysts, will gather in one place for networking.

Additionally, practical training on generative AI will be provided for non-experts such as citizens and students. Through various programs like ‘The Art of Prompts That Will Change Your Life, Taught by AI Engineers’ and the ‘Generative AI Artworks and Music Video Contest,’ participants can directly experience and learn how to effectively utilize generative AI in everyday life. The goal is to promote the ‘popularization of AI’ by enabling both experts and non-experts to experience and share ways to apply the technology.

Speakers on the day will include CEOs and executives in development and marketing from global generative AI companies such as FREEPIK and Magnific AI, who will present ways to effectively use generative AI in daily life and work. Domestic speakers include CEO Lee Han-jun of Stackers, CEO Jeong Ho-young of ZEXEA, and CEO Kim Si-hyun of AI Creator Lab, who will share insights and applications of AI in content creation, business automation, and AI-based creative activities across various fields.

Ticket holders for the conference will have free access to all lectures, programs, and events on the day, as well as participation in the VIP networking party. Detailed benefits include △conference admission △participation in hands-on training by generative AI experts △lunch and refreshments △invitation to the evening networking party △shuttle bus service. Contest participation and individual coffee chats with speakers are also available for applicants. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until 6 PM on the 1st of next month.

Park Sung-chul, CEO of AI Korea Community, said, “Since its establishment in January last year, the AI Korea Community, the largest AI community in Korea with over 50,000 members, has been striving for the popularization of AI. We hope this conference will provide an opportunity for more citizens to realize the potential of generative AI and apply it in their daily lives and work.”

Jeon Chang-bae, Chairman of IAAE, stated, “This conference is participatory and is the first global-scale AI event held in Korea. Participants will be able to directly experience the latest generative AI trends through insightful lectures by global generative AI experts and develop practical AI capabilities through education and hands-on training.”

The ‘Gen AI Innovation 2024 in Korea’ conference is open to anyone interested in AI. Detailed information and registration are available on the event website and the International Association for Artificial Intelligence Ethics website.
