Dongjak-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Il-ha) announced on the 5th that it will conduct special training to prevent charter fraud damage in the district and to strengthen the professionalism of real estate agents.


The training will be held at the 4th-floor auditorium of the Dongjak Cultural Welfare Center, dividing about 1,000 licensed real estate agents active in the district into two groups. The first training was conducted on the 4th for about 520 agents, and the second training will be held on the 12th of this month for about 440 agents.


Ryu Sang-gyu, a full-time professor at the Korea Association of Licensed Real Estate Agents, will give a lecture on topics such as “Cases and Prevention of Charter Fraud, and Brokerage Practices.”


Previously, the district prepared and is implementing differentiated measures to prevent charter fraud damage, including ▲ operating a pre-consultation counseling window for young adults ▲ forming a special investigation team to prevent multi-household damage ▲ expanding the charter fraud guardians program ▲ providing visiting counseling services.


Mayor Park Il-ha said, “Cooperation and assistance from licensed real estate agents are essential to prevent charter fraud damage,” adding, “The district will spare no support to eradicate charter fraud in Dongjak-gu.”
