The Growth Ladder Forum is an event where the heads of associations and organizations related to small and medium ventures and small business owners, along with the Small and Medium Business Ombudsman, propose regulatory and operational difficulties faced by their members and discuss improvement measures.
Attended by the Korea Federation of SMEs, Innobiz Association, Venture Business Association, Mainbiz Association, Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, Korea Women Venture Association, Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation, and the Federation of Small Businesses, this forum also served as an introductory meeting between the new Ombudsman and the heads of associations and organizations, allowing for free proposals and discussions on the forum’s operational plans.
Ombudsman Choi said, "I feel a heavy responsibility as I take office amid very difficult management conditions such as rising loan delinquency rates and increasing business suspensions and closures among small and medium ventures and small business owners," adding, "I will swiftly improve major regulations to provide practical help in improving the management environment for small and medium ventures and small business owners."
