◆EnjoyGO= Elysian Gangchon opened in 1997. Elysian refers to Elysium, the paradise of heroes in Greek mythology. It is a complex cultural leisure space that can be enjoyed all year round. It provides convenient facilities suitable for all customers seeking relaxation. It is a prestigious golf course where you can feel the beautiful four seasons of Gangchon while playing a round. In winter, you can enjoy thrilling skiing across the pure white snowfields. Various leisure facilities such as condominiums, outdoor swimming pools, go-karts, camping parks, billiard rooms, and grass sports fields are available.

The golf course consists of three courses: Valley, Lake, and Hill, with a total of 27 holes. The total area is 1,041,925㎡ (about 315,182 pyeong). The total length is 8,833m (about 9,659 yards). The course was designed by Lim Sang-ha. The Valley course features beautiful landscaping. The Lake course follows along the lake. The Hill course is located at the highest point, offering an open view that extends to the Bukhan River. The greens are bentgrass, the teeing grounds are Kentucky bluegrass, and the fairways are Korean-style zoysia grass. It is a tournament course that has hosted several professional tournaments such as the KLPGA Tour KDB Daewoo Securities Classic and the OK Savings Bank Park Se-ri Invitational.

You can enjoy your round warmly embraced by nature. It is located at an altitude of 260m, surrounded by Geombong Mountain and Samak Mountain. It is a typical mountainous golf course. Although the holes are easy to see, there are risky points when actually attacking the course. You can experience the thrill of a challenging round. The landscaping changes its attire with the seasons, featuring azaleas, creeping phlox, silver grass, and more. The 5th hole of the Hill course was even selected as ‘the most beautiful hole in Korea.’

◆EatGO= Elysian Gangchon is the perfect place for a golf trip. With condominiums, accommodation is convenient. It has a total of 222 rooms and auxiliary facilities such as saunas, game zones, and restaurants. The rooms offer refreshing views, and there are also cinema room-themed rooms. It looks like a magnificent castle in a secret garden. It creates a unique atmosphere each season. The scent of the pool and forest is impressive. From premium full-course meals to ? la carte dishes and brunch, it satisfies customers’ tastes. There are various restaurants such as Grand Grill, Odeum, Snow Garden, Wonder Burger, Cheongchun Banjeom, Norang Tongdak, Arabista, Alphouse, Grand Chef, Starlight Grill BBQ, Beer Garden, and Bosalle. ◆SeeGO= Near the golf course is the Gangchon Suspension Bridge. It is a reproduction of the suspension bridge that enjoyed fame in the 70s and 80s. Its official name is Deungseon Bridge. It is for pedestrians only. It is 2m wide and 58m long. At both ends of the suspension bridge, there are Memory Square and a park. Photos of the old Gangchon Suspension Bridge and sculptures symbolizing the prosperity of Gangchon, which was bustling with university students in the past, are displayed. There is a song monument where you can play the song ‘I Want to Live in Gangchon.’ It is open year-round and free of charge.
