On Thursday the 5th, occasional rain is expected in the Seoul metropolitan area and central regions.


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, occasional rain will fall from the morning in Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and northern Gangwon Yeongseo, and in the afternoon, occasional rain will occur in other parts of the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong region, and Jeju Island.


Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 10 mm in northern Gyeonggi and central-northern Gangwon Yeongseo, around 5 mm in Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, and the West Sea 5 Islands. Jeju Island will receive 5 to 20 mm of rain. Some areas in southern Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong region, and Jeolla region may see around 5 mm of rain.


The morning low temperatures will range from 18 to 25 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs will be between 27 and 34 degrees Celsius. Expected morning lows in major cities are ▲Seoul 24°C ▲Incheon 25°C ▲Chuncheon 21°C ▲Gangneung 23°C ▲Cheongju 23°C ▲Daejeon 22°C ▲Daegu 20°C ▲Jeonju 23°C ▲Gwangju 22°C ▲Busan 23°C ▲Jeju 25°C.


Daytime highs are expected to be ▲Seoul 28°C ▲Incheon 28°C ▲Chuncheon 29°C ▲Gangneung 33°C ▲Cheongju 32°C ▲Daejeon 32°C ▲Daegu 34°C ▲Jeonju 32°C ▲Gwangju 32°C ▲Busan 31°C ▲Jeju 32°C.


Temperature differences between day and night will be around 15 degrees Celsius, especially in inland Gyeongbuk, so caution is advised for health management.


Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.


Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the near seas of the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea. Wave heights in the outer seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea.
