Promotion of Expiration Dates Throughout September
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 4th that it will conduct a "visiting promotion campaign" throughout September to inform students in Jeonnam about the usage deadline for the Jeonnam Student Education Allowance.
This campaign was organized to promote the use of the "Jeonnam Student Education Allowance," which has been provided monthly to elementary school students in Jeonnam since last March and will automatically expire on December 15. The campaign is scheduled to visit six institutions in the eastern, western, and central regions, starting with Daebul Elementary School on the same day.

The Provincial Office of Education provides 100,000 KRW per month per student to elementary school students in 16 counties of Jeonnam, and 50,000 KRW per month per student attending elementary schools in five cities and Muan County.
The allowance can be used at NH Card affiliated stores that meet the purpose of the allowance operation and where students can engage in educational and experiential activities, such as arts and physical education academies, bookstores, and stationery stores. Unused points each month are carried over to the next month, but this year's allowance will expire entirely after the usage deadline of December 15.
The Provincial Office of Education plans to distribute the "2024 Jeonnam Student Education Allowance Usage Deadline Notice" and guide students to use all voucher points provided this year within the period.
Jung Byung-guk, Director of the Education Autonomy Division, stated, "We will actively promote the use of the student education allowance provided this year within the usage deadline," and added, "We will continue to support elementary students in Jeonnam to enjoy equal educational welfare benefits."
