The Goryeong-gun Tourism Association in North Gyeongsang Province will hold a variety of events for visitors during the '2024 World Heritage Festival', which will take place for 14 days from June 23 to October 6.
Goryeong County is hosting a "Accommodation Voucher Lottery Event" for visitors to the World Heritage Festival.
The main event is a raffle for accommodation vouchers, offering a stay at the 'Log Cabin Pension' located within the Daegaya History Theme Park.
Anyone in the country who is 18 years of age or older is eligible to apply.
An official from the county stated that if you are planning to visit Goryeong to attend the 2024 World Heritage Festival, you are encouraged to participate in the event.
Applications will be accepted starting September 6, and details such as how to apply, available dates for accommodation, and announcement schedules can be found on the 2024 World Heritage Festival website.
Additionally, there is an event where visitors who present a receipt for purchases of 30,000 won or more at local stores in Goryeong during the festival period and visit the 2024 World Heritage Festival information booth at the Daegaya Museum will receive a commemorative gift.
Kim Yonghyun, President of the Goryeong-gun Tourism Association, said, "Through this event held at the World Heritage Jisandong Tumuli, we hope you will experience the history and culture of Daegaya and enjoy the charm of Goryeong in the deepening autumn."
In addition to these, the 2024 World Heritage Festival, which features a variety of programs, will be held for two weeks from June 23 to October 6, centered around the Jisandong Tumuli, Daegaya Museum, and the Daegaya-eup area.
