DifferAI Achieves Award at International Invention Exhibition with Proprietary Edge AI Technology, 'Proving Global Technological Excellence'

Edge AI leading company DifferAI announced on the 4th that it won two gold awards at the '2024 Indonesia Inventors Day (IID)' event held in Denpasar, Indonesia from the 28th to the 31st of last month.

IID is an international invention exhibition sponsored by the Indonesia Inventors Association (INNOPA) and the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA). This event featured over 300 invention patents from 21 countries worldwide.

DifferAI showcased two patented technologies at IID: 'Neural Network Calculation Method and Device Suitable for Hardware Implementation' and 'Inter-Chip Communication Mediation Device.' These technologies focus on implementing high-performance inference acceleration devices with low power consumption. With the increasing demand for low-power semiconductors, DifferAI's AI semiconductors enable deep learning inference at the edge stage and offer high scalability, making them applicable to various advanced industries, the company explained.

Lee Sangheon, CEO of DifferAI, said, "We are very proud that DifferAI's innovative technology has been globally recognized through winning gold awards at IID," and added, "We confirmed significant interest in DifferAI's edge AI technology at the exhibition and its potential applications across diverse industrial fields."

He continued, "This award will serve as an important stepping stone for our global market expansion," and added, "We will accelerate the expansion into the Southeast Asian market through cooperation with Indonesian companies and the Defense University."

DifferAI has continuously proven its technological competitiveness in the global market. Following the acquisition of patents related to edge AI semiconductor technology in the United States and China for the first time domestically in June, the company also won the 'IFIA Best Invention Medal' at the 'Silicon Valley International Invention Fair (SVIIF)' in the United States last month.
