Hamyang County Signs MOU for Financial Support to Boost Local Economy and SMEs

NH Nonghyup Bank Signs Business Agreement with Hamyang County Branch

Hamyang County in South Gyeongsang Province signed a "Financial Support Agreement for Small and Medium Enterprises" with NH Nonghyup Bank Hamyang Branch at the county governor's office to overcome the crisis of local extinction and revitalize the regional economy.

The agreement, made on the 3rd, was prepared to help local SMEs overcome difficulties caused by the deepening economic recession and the ongoing high interest rate environment.


The support scale is a total of 3 billion KRW, including operating and facility funds. SMEs can receive up to 3 billion KRW, and entrepreneur-type small business owners can receive up to 500 million KRW. Hamyang County will provide a 2% interest subsidy.


Eligible applicants are SMEs located in Hamyang County that meet the criteria specified in the public notice. Applications and required documents can be submitted to the Job and Economy Division of Hamyang County Office from September 3 until the funds are exhausted.


Governor Jin Byungyeong stated, "I hope this will help SMEs currently facing difficulties and further serve as an opportunity to invigorate the local economy."
