Samsung Asset Management Hosts Purchase Verification Event for 6 KODEX US ETFs

Samsung Asset Management announced on the 4th that it will hold the ‘KODEX U.S. Listed ETF Purchase Certification Event’ until the 30th of this month.

This event allows participation by capturing the KODEX ETF holdings in a securities account and registering them on the KODEX website. Through a lottery, prizes such as Galaxy Z Flip6 (2 winners), Galaxy Watch Ultra (5 winners), Galaxy Buds3 Pro (10 winners), BBQ chicken sets (50 winners), and Starbucks coffee (1000 winners) will be provided.

The eligible products are six ETFs in total: two total return (TR) type ETFs that invest in U.S. indices with dividends automatically reinvested monthly ▲KODEX U.S. S&P 500 TR ▲KODEX U.S. Nasdaq 100 TR, and four monthly dividend ETFs that have recently gained popularity among investors seeking planned cash flow ▲KODEX U.S. Dividend Dow Jones ▲KODEX U.S. Dividend +10% Premium Dow Jones ▲KODEX U.S. 30-Year Treasury +12% Premium (Synthetic H) ▲KODEX U.S. AI Tech TOP10 +15% Premium.

This event is held under the theme of ‘Restarting U.S. Investment.’ Considering that market volatility may increase ahead of interest rate cuts and the U.S. presidential election, Samsung Asset Management explained that the message is to review the currently held U.S. ETF assets and reinvest in products with higher investment attractiveness, such as those with lower fees and planned monthly dividend ETFs.

Kim Kyung-sik, Head of Digital Marketing at Samsung Asset Management, said, “This year, KODEX has strengthened its lineup of various types of U.S. investment products by lowering fees for U.S. representative index ETFs and actively introducing U.S. monthly dividend ETFs to the market. We expect that more investors will choose relatively low-fee U.S. ETFs as long-term investment products by utilizing recent volatility in the U.S. market, and we will continue marketing related to U.S. investments, including this event.”
