Daejeon CCI recently announced on the 4th that it has decided to support member companies by linking the KAIST-led technology commercialization program with the ITTP (International Technology Transfer Program) project, following its participation in the founding ceremony of the World Economic Science Cities Alliance and the Global Tech Biz Day.
Taking this opportunity, Daejeon CCI plans to assist its members in participating in KAIST programs and to enhance the innovation capabilities of local companies by connecting technologies and talents obtained through the industry-academia cooperation network.
The recently established World Economic Science Cities Alliance is an economic exchange council involving seven major science cities, including Daejeon, Seattle in the United States, Montgomery County, and Calgary in Canada, aiming to build a global economic ecosystem.
Jung Tae-hee, chairman of Daejeon CCI, said, “KAIST’s technology commercialization program serves as a solid foundation for successfully linking corporate innovation, and the ITTP program will establish itself as a valuable platform for collaborating with outstanding talents from around the world. Daejeon CCI will help local companies in Daejeon build a foundation to compete in the global market through support for the industry-academia cooperation network program.”
