[Featured Stock] Galaxia SM Hits Upper Limit Amid Token Securities Legalization Moves

As the National Assembly shows signs of resuming the legislative work on token securities (STO), Galaxia SM, a stock related to STO, hit the upper price limit.

As of 2:41 PM on the 3rd, Galaxia SM went straight to the upper limit (the highest daily price limit). Galaxia SM has Galaxia Money Tree, which has built an STO platform, as its affiliate.

Token securities refer to securities issued in the form of digital assets using distributed ledger technology. Using STO, fractional investment can be made based on specific assets such as artworks and real estate. However, the stock prices of related companies plummeted as the legislative work was stalled during the 21st National Assembly.

However, with the start of the 22nd National Assembly, market interest is once again focused on the legalization of token securities. According to the National Assembly, Kim Jae-seop of the People Power Party will introduce a bill to amend the Capital Markets Act and the Electronic Securities Act for the legalization of token securities within this month.
