'Gyeonggi Icheon Sarang Local Currency' September Incentive Raised to 10%

Available Usage Amount of 770,000 KRW When Charging 700,000 KRW

Gyeonggi-do Icheon City announced that it will temporarily increase the incentive for the 'Gyeonggi Icheon Love Local Currency' to 10% throughout this month in celebration of Chuseok.

The temporary increase in incentives aims to reduce household burdens during the Chuseok holiday peak season and to revive consumer sentiment, which has been weakened by the prolonged economic downturn.

The monthly discount purchase limit per person for the local currency is 700,000 KRW. If you purchase 700,000 KRW worth of local currency this month, the actual usable amount will be 770,000 KRW. However, the incentive increase may end early if the budget is exhausted.

Issuance of the local currency is available to anyone aged 14 or older, regardless of whether they are local residents. After applying for card issuance within the Gyeonggi Local Currency app, charging is possible.

The Gyeonggi Icheon Love Local Currency can be used at over 8,800 affiliated stores within the region, including restaurants, academies, and hospitals. Information on registered affiliated stores can be checked in the Gyeonggi Local Currency app.
