Yangsan City Produces 105 Successful Candidates in the 1st and 2nd Qualification Exams This Year

Out-of-School Youth Support Center Achieves 75.38% Pass Rate in Second Qualification Exam

The Yangsan City Out-of-School Youth Support Center in Gyeongnam (Director: Kang Jeongsuk) achieved a pass rate of 75.38% in the second 2024 qualification exam held in August, with 49 out of 65 examinees passing (43 high school diplomas, 4 middle school diplomas, and 2 elementary school diplomas).


As a result, a total of 126 students took the first and second 2024 qualification exams, and 105 passed (85 high school diplomas, 16 middle school diplomas, and 4 elementary school diplomas), achieving a pass rate of 83.33%.


The Out-of-School Youth Support Center operates various programs such as exam preparation classes and learning clinics to support qualification exams and successful academic reintegration. Every year, the center conducts demand surveys to develop programs tailored to the characteristics of out-of-school youth.


In addition, as interest in returning to regular schools and entering universities after passing the qualification exam has increased among out-of-school youth (28.2% according to the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family's 2023 Out-of-School Youth Survey), the center holds university entrance information sessions for out-of-school youth, focusing on supporting their academic and career paths.
